Our approach

Compliance protects our licence to trade — and yours to trust us.

We uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance for one reason: it protects our licence to trade and your right to informed advice. Every adviser is fitness-tested. Every advice file is sampled. Every policy on this page is reviewed against FSCA standards before it’s published.

Our dedication to compliance reflects an unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability and ethical business practice — not because the regulator demands it, but because our clients deserve it.

The documents below outline how we safeguard your interests and the laws that hold us to account. They are public, they are versioned, and they are inspected.

Operating model

Three lines of defence — staffed, separated, accountable.

Every regulated firm runs on the three-lines-of-defence model. We don’t shortcut it. Each layer reports independently and has the authority to escalate without permission.

First line of defence

Key Individuals

  • Sign off advice frameworks
  • Approve adviser fitness
  • Own conduct outcomes
Independent oversight

Compliance Officers

  • Sample advice files monthly
  • Run controls testing
  • Report directly to the Board
Strategic direction

Governance Committee

  • Quarterly framework review
  • Risk appetite calibration
  • Regulator-engagement strategy
Compliance cadence

Always-on, plus rhythms you can audit.

The work doesn’t stop at the certificate. Here’s the heartbeat the licence is built on.

Sanctions screening, advice-file capture, POPIA breach watch.

Monthly

Compliance Officer reviews a sample of advice files and rejects out-of-policy work.

Quarterly
